On March 10, Sega announced that Avex will host a Shin Sakura Taisen the Stage event at Anime Japan 2021. The main cast members of the production will host a 40-minute talk show, which will be followed by a cast performance of Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan .
Planned hosts include:
- Yuna Sekine (Sakura Amamiya)
- Rina Takahashi (Hatsuho Shinonome)
- Yui Kanchiku (Azami Mochizuki)
- Juri Hirayu (Anastasia Palma)
- Natsume Oki (Clarissa “Claris” Snowflake)
The event is slated to be held on March 27 at 14:00 JST (3/27/2021 at 1:00AM EDT / 3/26/2021 at 10:00PM PDT). The current estimated run time is forty minutes. Avex will stream the show live on their YouTube channel, and via Twitter Broadcasts.
Shin Sakura Taisen the Stage returns to theaters on March 21 for a new concert series, titled Shin Sakura Taisen the Stage ~Sakura Uta no Utage~ (Sakura Wars the Stage ~Sakura Song Celebration~).
The first Sakura Taisen the Stage show opened on November 19, 2020, and ran through November 23, 2020.
