On November 9, the official Sakura Wars the Stage Twitter account updated with a short video greeting from Yuna Sekine, who plays Sakura Amamiya. In the twenty-second video, is dressed in her full stage costume, and highlights the most distinctive parts of the outfit. In particular, she notes the embroidered cherry blossom decoration on her chest, the pink hair ribbon, and the detailing on the kimono’s sleeves.

On November 10, the account updated with a second video, which features Rina Takahashi dressed in her Hatsuho stage costume. She highlights the detailing on the hakama, the rope decoration that hangs from Hatsuho’s back, and the wrappings that extend up her forearms.

Sakura Wars the Stage opens on November 19, and will run through November 23.
About Sakura Wars the Stage
Sakura Wars the Stage was first announced on September 15, 2019, as part of Sega’s eighth Sakura Wars streaming event. The production was originally slated to run from March 5 – 8 at Akasaka’s Sogetsu Hall, with eight shows planned for the period.
On February 26, Sega announced that the show was canceled due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.
On June 19, during a Sakura Wars streaming event, Sega announced that the stage show would return in Winter 2020. On September 18, the official Sakura Wars the Stage website updated with an announcement that the show will open on November 19.
The confirmed cast includes:

- Azami Mochizuki: Yui Kanchiku
- Anastasia Palma: Juri Hirayu
- Claris: Natsume Oki
- Sumire Kanzaki: Moemi Katayama
- Seijuro Kamiyama: Yohei Azakami
Masami Itō (Miracle☆Stage Sanrio Boys) will direct the production and write the script, while series composer Kohei Tanaka scores the soundtrack. Series creator Oji Hiroi is credited with the original concept.
How to Watch Sakura Wars the Stage
Sakura Wars the Stage is slated to open on November 19, at Chiyoda’s Hulic Hall theater. Nine shows are planned, which will run through November 23. Tickets are priced at 7,800 yen ($74.58 USD) each for general admission.
Customers can enter to purchase tickets through September 28, at 23:59 JST, with winners being notified on October 1. Winners will have through October 5 at 23:59 JST to pay for their tickets. In addition to the on-site performances, for a streaming version of the play are also being offered for one of the two shows, as well as a discounted pass that includes streams of both events. In addition to the shows, the two-show ticket will include a bonus “Flower Division send-off” video.
The single-show passes are priced at 3,500 yen ($33.13 USD) each, while the two-show ticket will cost 6,300 yen ($59.64 USD). Nico Nico is handling distribution of the digital broadcasts.
