It seems that a pair of Sakura Wars icons will help to celebrate Sega’s 60th birthday. This morning, Sega kicked off their Tokyo Game Show 2020 festivities with the “SEGA Fan Meet-Up 2020 ~Thanks to All the Fans~” streaming event. Sega President and CEO Haruki Satomi hosted the show, which included several game announcements and retrospectives on the company’s history.

During the program, Satomi announced that Sega will host a live streaming event to celebrate the publisher’s anniversary. The show, dubbed “Sega 60th Anniversary Live”, will be a streaming-only concert held at the Toyasu Pit concert hall.

The event promises to bring ten artists and performers together on the same stage. The stars, joined by a live band, will perform a selection of famous songs from the company’s history.

According to the show’s teaser site, songs from Sakura Wars, Phantasy Star, Yakuza, Sonic the Hedgehog, Persona are included in the set list, with the event slated to run for roughly two hours.

The Sega 60th Anniversary Live will be held on December 19, 2020 at 19:00 JST (6:00AM EST / 3:00AM PST), and will be distributed by Pia Live Stream. Tickets to the show, which are priced at 3,900 yen ($36.92 USD), will grant access to the live concert as well as a streaming video-on-demand feed that will be available until December 21, 2020 at 23:59 JST (11:00AM EST / 8:00AM PST).

In addition to the standard concert, Pia Live Stream is offering an early-bird ticket (3900 yen), which includes a bonus card, and a premium ticket (7,400 ye) that includes a T-shirt and a bonus video.

The early bird tickets will be available until October 11 at 23:59 JST. The premium tickets will be on sale until November 1 at 23:59 JST, or while supplies last.
